Mass Production Underway
Great news — we’ve officially received enough responses on the BackerKit survey to lock in the estimated quantities for each knife variation. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to fill it out. Your answers have been incredibly helpful.
We are now moving into mass production. Our manufacturing partner is currently reviewing everything on their end and preparing the final production run. They’ll need a little time to run the numbers and give us a reliable estimated completion timeline (ETA). They are also going to be sending us mass production samples to make sure everything is correct.
As soon as we receive that information, we’ll follow up with a full update including expected shipping windows.
We really appreciate your continued patience and support as we take this next big step. We’re excited to get these knives made and into your hands!
BackerKit Survey; Pay Over Time
We understand now that the Pay Over Time feature on Kickstarter is a great feature but doesn't allow those backers to answer the BackerKit Survey until it is fully paid. We will improve on how we take surveys in the future. For those of you who are unable to answer the survey because of the paid over time feature, no worries. Simply wait until you've paid off the balance and then head over to the following link to request a survey link to be emailed to you:
I’ve been working on another project — a truly unique fidget spinner that can also double as a desktop kinetic toy. I feel the market has been missing something genuinely different, and I believe there’s room for a high-quality piece that’s both fun to spin and enjoyable as a kinetic desk toy.

Hello everyone,
We’re getting close to locking in our final production numbers and moving into mass production — and we’re so excited! 🎉
To make sure everything is accurate, we wanted to send a quick, friendly reminder that there are still a few backers who haven’t completed their BackerKit Survey yet.
Your responses help us get the exact counts we need for the knife finish and pocket clip orientation. The sooner we have everyone’s preferences, the faster we can finalize everything and get into production. Our manufacturing partner is reminding us to get these numbers to them ASAP.
If we don’t hear back from the remaining 54 backers by Monday, April 20th, we’ll need to default those orders to:

- with a right-handed pocket clip
This is because it is currently the most requested configuration in the survey. We will then send off the final count to our manufacturing partner.

Smoke Test completed
Our smoke test was successful! We are now sending out BackerKit Survey invitations to everyone. If you did not receive an email, here are instructions on how to retrieve it.
BackerKit Instructions
Visit:
Enter in your Kickstarter email address and you will be sent your link. If you are having trouble, please message us and we will assist you.
If you sign on to Kickstarter using APPLEID, you will not be able to retrieve your survey so we will have to manually assist you in updating your email address with BackerKit. Send us a private message and we will update it on the back-end.
ADD-ONS
We have added some pretty awesome MankerLight flashlights under a new section called Clearance & Open Box. These flashlights are in perfect working condition (they are mainly customer returns and/or open box items). They come complete with manufacturers warranty and are tested individually before shipping (the packaging may be damaged or opened but the product and accessories inside are fine). They are basically 50% OFF retail. They are limited in quantity.
Can't Import in knives/blades?
For some international backers that might have legal issues importing in knives/blades, we've added an ADD-ON that is free of charge that says "PLEASE SHIP WITHOUT BLADES" which means we will ship your ONAMI without ANY BLADES. The utility blades are standard and you will be able to find them locally (e.g. hardware stores).
